In any case, when looking for a disks, you don't need to worry about finding a PPC or Intel disk. All retail Tiger disks(black label) are PPC. The exception to this is 10.4.8 Server, which is universal.

You need to use a torrent client, such as uTorrent or Vuze, to connect to peers before the torrent does any good. Finally, you will have a file or package of files in the form shown on the Website that offered the torrent file.

That site should mention what you will have at the end by using the torrent file. I will guess that it will be a DMG (mountable image). That is a compressed package of files that can be expanded by OS X and will mount as a virtual disk. You can burn it on any Mac system that has a DVD burner.
